Illinois Family Vacation

I went on vacation with my family to Illlinois and Tennessee. It was incredible to see a different part of the US and to see old friends from when we lived in Quincy, IL.

Spring Semester Ends

July 24-26

Adam and I drove to Utah at the end of the semester and stayed at my Grandma Johnson's house in Salt Lake. We went to a water park, Temple Square, the top of the conference center, Thanksgiving Point's gardens (which were beautiful- the waterfall was amazing!), and we went to the 24th of July family get together at my grandma's to watch the fireworks at liberty park. It had been years since I had seen them but they were amazing. We had front row seats (grandma's yard).

Adam and Elaina. I thought it was so funny because Elaina's cute tummy popped open the snap on her shorts and she was sitting on Adam with her stomach hanging out. She's a cutie. At the Salt Lake Temple grounds.

I am in Utah right now staying with Amber and playing with Elaina. I was sad to see the semester end at BYU-I because I had to say goodbye to my boyfriend Adam. I'll be back to school in September and I plan on livinig with my best friend Monica. I am excited to meet new people even though it was sad to say goodbye to people that I really care about.

Demolition Derby

Adam, Danika, and I went to a demolition derby in Rexburg, Idaho. I think that everyone in Rexburg was there. It was a lot of fun, but it was sure hot. We got front row seats. Glenn Beck was there and so we got to see him. It was quite the experience.

Family Trip to Idaho

May 31-June 3
My family came out to Rexburg, ID to visit me at BYU-I for a few days and to meet my boyfriend Adam. Mom, Amber, Elaina, Avram, and Autumn all came. It was the highlight of my year to have visit me, I had missed them a lot and I really appreciated it. While they were here, we went to Yellowstone which I had never done before. It was beautiful, but unfortunately it was a cold and sprinkly day. It was amazing. It was a great weekend.

Memorial Day Camping Trip

May 23-26
Danika, Cassie, Alex, Adam, and I all went to Lava Hot Springs for a camping trip for the weekend. It was a lot of fun and the first real time I had been camping. It rained a lot of the weekend, but it made for a really good mud fight later on. After our mud adventure, we washed ourselves off in the creek by our camp sight, then we went straight to the Lava Hot Springs to warm ourselves up. It was a wonderful and fun trip!
