My Happy Boy

April 30, 2012

I just absolutley love my little boy. He is such a happy, good, baby! I am so blessed to have him and that I get to spend all day with such a special little guy!

Hiccups

4 weeks

It's fun to see him have hiccups now because it reminds me of the days I was pregnant and would feel him hiccup inside of me. It's still hard for me to imagine that he was in fact the baby that was inside my body but watching him have hiccups makes it more real for me and that he is also the same baby that I felt twitch at 16 weeks pregnant also. I don't know if that makes any sense, but it's a cool thing for me to make a connection with.

Snoring Bentley

Poor guy had a stuffed nose which made him snore. But it sure sounds cute!

Home Update: Week 1

February 14-18

This past week we were able to get all the rooms that will have carpet cleaned and one of the bathrooms, Adam took out all the carpets the first night, and we got most of the carpeted rooms painted. Here's kind of how the house is starting to look.

OUR HAPPY HELPERS

When I first saw Adam wearing this mask, it startled me a little because he looks a lot like a boogy man! He was painting all the ceilings with an industrial spray painter.

A Home for Valentine's Day

Adam and I put an offer on a house in Ringgold, GA a month ago.  We were able to close on the house February 14th (Valentine's Day!), which made it even more special for us becoming home owners. The house was a forclosed home and the previous owner obviously had some pets because there were pee stains everywhere in the carpet and the place smelled pretty bad. So for our Valentine's day, I got to scrub down the laundry room and part of the office, and Adam riped out all of the carpets. Probably not the most romantic day for us, but we were working towards being able to move in with our new baby, which is kind of romantic. Hopefully we will be able to start painting next week and get new carpets and wood floors installed. There is lots of work to be done but it is soooo nice to be able to call something our own and not just live in a rental. I will post pictures soon of our progress. But so far we love the neighborhood and we love the area!
